LIFE AND A DIE

How dicey is a die. Throw it this time and you get a face, Try it the second time and you just might not get the same face using the same die.
The similitude of the dicey nature of a die is that of life- It isn’t constant.
Life can get so dicey at times that you really can't say what's happening, what will happen or were it is heading.
Why should we be able to?  after all we are humans and not God.
In situations like this, I guess one only has to keep ones head straight & make the best use of one’s time and opportunities.
The rest lies in the hands of the ONE in whose hands is our soul.
Since He(azawajal) sees beyond what we see, then He(exalted is He) knows just what is perfect, when it is perfect and how it is perfect.

This topic for an argument is as null and void, in my opinion, as some other topics that we would debate over in school examples of which includes ‘boys are better than girls’, ‘farmers are better and doctors’, etc. In an argument like ‘farmers are better than doctors’, what differentiation are we trying to make between the farmers and the doctors? With what do we intend to raise the status of the farmers over the doctors? The farmers have their role to play and a contribution to make in the development process just like the doctors, at some point some of these roles are the same while at other points the differ from one another. Both personalities are needed and we really can’t do with just one of them without the other- the doctors to cater for our health and the farmer to help in producing food for the increasing population alongside other civic duties. With the advancement in technology, one would expect life becoming easier, people becoming more efficient but reverse seems to be the case, the invention of mobile devices like Smartphones   that were suppose to increase people’s efficiency is having a negative impact on (some of) them, we have people becoming more lazy, useful times that could be spent on developmental issues are wasted on mobile phones on not-so-important issues like chatting, downloading, uploading, reading unnecessary post, etc. If you interpret this to mean that social networking is bad, you’re wrong. Chatting of course is a cheap means of   connecting people, what I am saying is that for a youth, spending too much time on this could be destructive especially when it begins to distract one from the original purpose of his/her existence(the worship of Allah(s.w.t)) or one gets addicted to it.
